Scotiabank Chile named Best Investment Bank

Scotiabank Chile was named Best Investment Bank in Chile by the prestigious British magazine Euromoney in the Awards for Excellence 2022.

This award reflects our leadership position across the different investment bank products including M&A, local and international DCM and structured financing.

During its 30 year history in the country Scotiabank Chile has built a leadership position in corporate banking. Between April 2021 and March 2022, the bank has led the league tables for local and international bond issuances and structure financings and the fourth position in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). During this period the bank’s assets grew up 14% in this segment compared to the 9% growth of the market. Additionally the bank participated in over 140 transactions (including bond issuances) for a total amount of over US$ 29.000 millions.

Internationally Euromoney also named Scotiabank Best Bank in Canada and North America's Best Bank for Sustainable Finance.
