Director Ernesto Mario Viola

Mr. Viola was appointed Director of Scotiabank Chile in the shareholders meeting held on August 2nd, 2018 when the merger between BBVA Chile and Scotiabank Chile was approved.

Mr. Viola holds a degree in public accounting from the University of Buenos Aires. He completed the Executive Development Program at INALDE Business School and the Executive Management Program at Duke University.

He previously served as CFO for Scotiabank businesses in Colombia and Perú and has held multiple senior positions in GE Capital and PWC. He was also member of the board in several companies of the financial sector such as CIFIN S.A., Sociedad Titulizadora S.A. and Banco Colpatria.

Ernesto was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Scotiabank International Banking in February 2017 overseeing the local finance teams in this business line.
