Gonzalo Said Handal Director

Mr. Said was appointed Director of Scotiabank Chile in the shareholders meeting held on August 2nd, 2018 when the merger between BBVA Chile and Scotiabank Chile was approved.

He holds a degree in business administration from Gabriela Mistral University with specialization in finance and corporate governance. Mr. Said has over 30 years of experience in the beverage and consumer goods industry with relevant experience in sustainability through his role as president of Fundación Generación Empresarial, a non-profit organization aiming to develop and foster corporate responsibility.

Mr. Said also serves as director for Embotelladora Andina S.A. and the holding company of the Said Handal family. He is also advisor of Sociedad de Fomento Fabril (SOFOFA).
