1st Alternate Director Juan Antonio Guzmán Molinari

Mr. Guzman was originally appointed Director of Scotiabank Chile in 2012 and was recently reappointed in the shareholders meeting held on August 2nd, 2018 when the merger between BBVA Chile and Scotiabank Chile was approved.

He holds a Ph.D. from the Polytechnic of North London and a degree in industrial engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Mr. Guzman has extensive experience in management and administration of private and publicly owned companies together with academic and teaching experience.

He was the Chief Executive Officer for Gener S.A. and he is director and president of the board for numerous private companies being an active partner in corporations from the energy, education, health and real estate industries.
