Mr. Concha was originally appointed Director of Scotiabank Chile in August 2009 and was recently reappointed in the shareholders meeting held on August 2nd, 2018 when the merger between BBVA Chile and Scotiabank Chile was approved.
He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Chile. Mr. Concha started his career in Banco Hipotecario y de Fomento de Chile and subsequently held senior positions in Banco de Chile, Osorno and Corpbanca.
He served as advisor in representation of Chile, in the Advisory Committee for Visa International for Latin America and the Caribbean. After his tenure he held senior positions for Banco de Comercio de El Salvador, entity acquired by Scotiabank Group in 2004.
Within Scotiabank group Mr. Concha was the Chief Executive Officer for Scotiabank El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama. In Chile he served as CEO of Banco del Desarrollo until it was merged with Scotiabank Chile.
